Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead for hotel/conference center venues in the Orlando area. You will bridge between technical lead and technical specialist, supervising advanced audiovisual equipment setup, operation, and breakdown during events.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years field experience in AV, 2-3 years in customer service or hospitality, and a valid driver's license. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with training and certifications completed within 60 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet certification requirements per Encore’s Learning Program.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots advanced audiovisual equipment during events.
• Provides exemplary customer service and maintains client relationships.
• Mentors and coaches team members to develop technical skills.
• Supervises technicians during events and coordinates with operations.
• Maintains equipment security, storage, and inventory Forecasting.
