Job summary

The Encore Senior Technical Lead role bridges technical leadership with hands-on AV operation for small and larger sessions in hotel/event settings. You will supervise technicians, coordinate equipment setup, and ensure flawless event execution while maintaining safety and client satisfaction.

We seek candidates with 2+ years in field work, hospitality or customer service experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse workforce, customer base and senior management.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment; troubleshoot issues; ensure security and safety.
• Customer Service: deliver excellent service; maintain client relationships; collaborate on event solutions.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach to develop technical skills.
• Event Supervision: supervise other technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: assist with security, storage, transport, and inventory.
