Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 3 to lead AV installation tasks on contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations and rack fabrication. You will coordinate crews, read schematics, and report progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget and safety goals.

You should have 4–6 years in AV installation, strong client-facing skills, CTS certification, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while traveling to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of audiovisual or related installation experience.
• CTS certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks per project scope, including cable pulls, terminations and equipment setup.
• Lead and mentor installation crews on large, complex projects and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints; verify quality of work.
• Use hand and power tools to solder, crimp and install AV components; test systems.
• Support Engineers/Programmers with minor programming changes and site documentation.
