Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 3 to lead on-site installation tasks for large AV projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring layouts. The Installation Technician 3 will lead and direct installation crews on bigger projects by coordinating with the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals.

Travel to various job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to lead on-site teams.
• Advanced understanding of AV systems and control equipment.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks including cable pulls and terminations.
• Lead installation crews on large projects and coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Read schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Travel to various job sites.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 Technicians on site.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
