Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to perform installation tasks across contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring.

You may lead installation crews, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure project goals for time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are met. You will work on customer sites, read schematics, and use hand and power tools to install AV equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead installation crews on small projects.
• Strong communication with clients and team members.
• Intermediate understanding of AV systems and cabling.
• Experience installing HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic cabling.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks based on project scope and directives.
• Demonstrate job site leadership and oversee Level 1 Technicians.
• Read project schematics and blueprints; install and test AV systems.
• Track and secure equipment; communicate daily site status to Project Manager.
• Travel to various job sites as required; support on-site change requests.
