Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 4 to lead on-site installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring. You will direct installation crews, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure alignment with schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will read schematics, test equipment, and work with engineers as needed. Expect travel to multiple job sites and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years in audiovisual, electronics or related installation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid AVIXA CTS-I certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks per project scope and directives.
• Lead and direct installation crews onsite and coordinate with Project Manager.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install and terminate cabling and equipment.
• Travel to various job sites as required and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Provide site supervision and documentation of daily progress.
