Job summary

AVI‑SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 3 to perform installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, and rack fabrication. You will lead and direct installation crews on larger projects, coordinating with the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in audiovisual installations, advanced AV knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in audiovisual installations with leadership skills.
• CTS certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct installation crews on large projects.
• Perform installation tasks including cabling, terminations, and rack wiring.
• Read schematics and blueprints to guide installations.
• Use hand and power tools to install and test AV systems.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and other trades on site.
• Travel to various job sites as needed and support site supervision.
