Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an energetic GC Pro Account Manager to cultivate new business and grow relationships for professional‑level AV solutions. You will promote AV/lighting products, create contracts, and drive growth in a defined geographic area.

Expect substantial field time, client visits, and cross‑functional collaboration. The role demands a proven B2B sales track record, strong communication, and negotiation skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant work experience selling AV integration products/services with sales targets.
• 3 years in B2B/outside sales in AV/Audio-Visual-Lighting with proven sales/operations results.

Responsibilities

• Create sales orders, contracts for services.
• Spend 50%+ time in the field generating new clients and nurturing existing ones.
• Achieve sales targets and grow within a geographic area.
• Develop business plans to generate new sales leads and follow up to meet targets.
• Engage in client site visits, cold calling, research to develop new business.
• Continuously learn products and services to best represent the company.
• Understand client needs, identify solutions, uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with GC Pro, Guitar Center locations, Support Center, and Distribution Centers.
• Create detailed reporting of activities (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
