Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an ambitious GC Pro Account Manager for outside sales to grow B2B audio, video, and lighting solutions. You will cultivate new business while strengthening existing relationships across a broad client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• 3 years in AV integration sales with proven ability to hit targets.
• 3 years in a B2B/outside sales environment with market presence.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create sales, orders, contracts for services.
• Field-based role; travel 50% or more to generate new clients.
• Achieve sales targets and grow within the territory.
• Develop business plans for new leads and follow up to close deals.
• Engage in business development via site visits, cold calls, internet, and more.
• Continually learn new products and services to better meet client needs.
• Collaborate with GC Pro locations, Support Center, and distribution centers to serve clients.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports.
