Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a GC Pro Account Manager for outside sales to cultivate new business and nurture existing accounts across our audio-visual solutions portfolio. You will be in the field, visiting clients, and developing strategies to hit sales targets while promoting our pro-level AV products and services.

You will collaborate with Guitar Center locations, support centers, and distribution networks to address client needs and expand the GC Pro business footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant work experience selling AV integration products/services with proven targets.
• 3 years of outside sales experience in Audio/Visual/Lighting with market presence.

Responsibilities

• Create sales, orders, and contracts for services.
• Spend ~50%+ time in the field generating new clients and nurturing existing clients.
• Achieve sales targets and grow within a region, supporting client needs.
• Develop detailed business plans for new sales leads; follow up on self-generated leads.
• Engage in business development, client visits, cold calling, and online prospecting.
• Continually learn product offerings to represent the company effectively.
