The Recruiting Hive is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead for the Greater Milwaukee area. This role focuses on real-time diagnostics across Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and high voltage systems up to 480V.

You will own complex automation lines, supervise maintenance activities, and drive uptime in a high-autonomy facility. We offer a stable direct-hire position with three shift options, competitive pay up to $38/hour, shift differentials, annual bonuses, profit sharing,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on maintenance of high-speed production machinery or heavy industrial equipment.
• Automation and PLC diagnostic skills across automated equipment, including I/O monitoring and fault tracing.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints without guidance.
• Proven tenure with reliable attendance, safety-mindedness, and long-term commitment.
• Residence within a 45-minute drive of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
• Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsabilités

• Diagnose automated production lines with real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics.
• Interface with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
• Trace schematics and drawings to perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatic valves, cylinders, and regulators.
• Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, motors, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits.
• Perform light fabrication (welding, torching) to modify or repair equipment components.
