Job Juncture in the Greater Milwaukee, WI area seeks an Automation Maintenance Lead with expertise in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and VFDs. This direct-hire role offers a high-autonomy environment, multiple shift options, and a path to a stable career in a leading manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include real-time diagnostics, PLC fault-tracing, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and optimization of automation lines.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on maintenance of high-speed production equipment.
Familiar with PLC environments, I/O monitoring, and fault tracing.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Stable work history with strong attendance and safety record.
Residence within a 45-minute drive of Greater Milwaukee, WI area.
Must be a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

Diagnose automated production lines with real-time diagnostics to keep equipment running.
Interface with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
Trace schematics and drawings to perform emergency repairs and preventative maintenance sequences.
Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatic valves, cylinders, and regulators.
Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, VFDs, sensors, and low-voltage controls.
Perform light fabrication or welding to modify equipment as needed.
