Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead for a Direct-Hire role in the Greater Milwaukee area. The position offers up to $38/hour, with shift differentials and bonuses, across multiple shifts.

You will own automation line diagnostics, PLC fault-tracing, and high-visibility maintenance responsibilities in a high-autonomy facility. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance, US work authorization, and a local 45-minute commute.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hand-on industrial maintenance.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and automation.
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong reliability and attendance history.
• Live within 45-minute drive of Greater Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automated production lines in real time.
• Interface with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to troubleshoot.
• Trace schematics and drawings for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain fluid power systems: pneumatics, cylinders, valves.
• Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V.
• Perform light fabrication and welding as needed.
