Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead in the Greater Milwaukee area. The role focuses on real-time diagnostics of automated lines, PLC fault-tracing with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems, and managing pneumatics and VFDs.

The ideal candidate will own complex automation lines and contribute to a high-autonomy shop floor culture. Offered are multiple shifts (1st/2nd/3rd), a competitive hourly base up to $38 with differential bonuses, profit sharing, and comprehensive

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on maintenance of industrial equipment and automated lines.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-based systems (Allen‑Bradley or Siemens).
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Demonstrated reliability with a stable work history and good attendance.
Local commute within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
Must be a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

Diagnose automated production lines, performing real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
Interface with PLCs to trace faults, identify issues, and restore production quickly.
Read schematics and drawings to perform repairs and preventative maintenance sequences.
Maintain and service fluid power systems including pneumatics and valves.
Work with AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V and VFDs.
Perform light fabrication and welding to modify or repair equipment as needed.
