Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an Automation Maintenance Lead for Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs & VFDs in the Greater Milwaukee area. You will own complex line diagnostics, collaborate with a high-autonomy team, and drive uptime on advanced manufacturing cells.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hand-on industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Automation and PLC diagnostic skills across Allen-Bradley or Siemens environments.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings (ladder logic tracing).
• Proven tenure with reliable attendance and safety commitment.
• Residence within 45-minute daily drive of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
• Must be a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automated production lines via real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics.
• Interface with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
• Interpret schematics and drawings to perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatics and distribution lines.
• Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, including VFDs.
• Perform light fabrication and welding to modify equipment as needed.
