United Future in Greater Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead to perform real-time diagnostics and fault tracing on Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLCs, VFDs, and robotics. This direct-hire role offers multiple shifts and a high-autonomy shop floor culture.

You will own complex automation lines, work across electrical/mechanical disciplines, and contribute to a zero-layoff environment with strong bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on industrial equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and high‑voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Proven reliable, with strong daily attendance and safety focus.
• Local commute within 45‑minute drive of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
• US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automated production lines with real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic methods.
• Interface with Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
• Read schematics and ladder logic for emergency repairs and preventative maintenance sequences.
• Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatics and regulators.
• Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, including VFDs.
• Perform light fabrication to adapt or repair equipment components.
