Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our site maintenance team. You will support MHE control systems, troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, and drive improvements across conveyors and sortation equipment.

This role requires hands-on electrical and control system expertise, strong safety focus, and the ability to lead or assist technicians on projects in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience programming/commissioning HMIs/PLCs/VFDs.
• Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs.
• Ability to interpret and modify electrical drawings.
• Experience with conveyors and sortation systems.
• Experience with electrical control components (relays, motor starters, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Support maintenance with material handling control systems and drives.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for PLC/PC controllers using Rockwell tools.
• Escalate downtime issues to vendors or networks as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to plan new technology installations.
• Communicate timelines and impacts to leadership and teams.
