Job summary
C&W Services is seeking an Automation Engineer in California to support the site maintenance team and improve the efficiency of Material Handling Equipment control systems. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley platforms, and Rockwell software to ensure reliable operation.
You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and vendors in a climate-controlled warehouse, lead or assist technicians on projects, and promote a safety-first culture while delivering measurable
Qualifications
- 3+ years in debugging/maintaining HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Experience with conveyors and sortation systems.
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings; safety-minded.
Responsibilities
- Support maintenance team to ensure MPC and MHE control systems operate reliably.
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems including PLCs/PCs.
- Lead or assist technicians on projects, communicate timelines to operations and leadership.
