Job summary
C&W Services in New Jersey is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team. You will ensure operational performance of material handling equipment control systems, troubleshoot conveyors and sortation assets, and implement software solutions across PLC/PC platforms using Rockwell tools.

Qualifications
- Experience programming HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with conveyors and sortation systems.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
- Provide guidance on maintaining material handling control systems and electrical distribution.
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Rockwell).
- Serve as first level escalation support for equipment automation issues and escalate as needed.
- Apply control systems expertise to maximize building utilization of systems.
- Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with technicians to resolve electrical problems.
- Plan and coordinate new technology installations with leadership and vendors.
- Communicate issues and timelines with operations and engineering teams.
