Job summary

C&W Services is hiring an Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team and optimize Material Handling Equipment control systems. You will troubleshoot, program, and improve PLC/PC controllers and Rockwell software while collaborating with operations to ensure optimal performance in a climate-controlled facility.

Your work will focus on maintaining conveyors, sortation, scanners, labeling systems, HMI, and electrical distribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with HMIs/PLCs/VFDs
• Experience with SCADA and KPIs
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
• Experience supporting conveyors and sortation systems
• Knowledge of relays, motor starters, VFDs, HMIs

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and follow procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems.
• Support and modify software for MHE control systems using PLC/PC controllers.
• Escalate Downtime issues to vendors or network teams.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance for equipment reliability.
