Job summary

Sorren in California and Colorado markets seeks a seasoned Assurance leader to plan, execute, and deliver the firm's most complex engagements across diverse industries. You will serve as a technical expert in GAAP, GAAS, and other standards, guiding internal teams and clients on revenue recognition, leases, and consolidations.

As a strategic advisor, you will manage engagement budgets, lead performance reviews, and drive audit methodology improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in assurance-related work.
• CPA license or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex assurance engagements across industries.
• Provide GAAP/GAAS guidance to teams and clients on complex issues such as revenue, leases, and consolidations.
• Develop engagement strategies aligned with client objectives and risk management.
• Review and manage engagement budgets and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Coach and mentor managers, senior associates, and associates to foster growth and technical excellence.
• Support business development efforts and client relationship building.
