Sorren is seeking a senior assurance leader to drive the planning, execution, and delivery of our most complex engagements. You will serve as a technical GAAP/GAAS expert, shape engagement strategies, and drive efficiency with advanced analytics.

You will mentor multi-level teams, manage budgets, and contribute to client relationships and firm growth while upholding high standards of service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in assurance-related work.
• CPA licensed and active.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Deep GAAP/GAAS knowledge and ability to interpret evolving standards.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, high-risk engagements.
• Advanced proficiency with assurance tech platforms and data analytics.
• Experience coaching multi-level teams and executives.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.
• Full-time availability and flexibility to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the firm’s most complex assurance engagements across diverse industries.
• Provide technical GAAP/GAAS guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Develop and oversee engagement strategies aligned with client goals and risk.
• Review engagement budgets and ensure targets while maintaining quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit methodology and tools.
• Supervise and coach managers, senior associates, and associates.
