Sorren is seeking a Senior Assurance Leader to guide the planning, execution, and delivery of the firm's most complex engagements across diverse industries. You will serve as a technical expert in GAAP/GAAS and lead high‑risk audits, while mentoring multi‑level teams to ensure high‑quality, compliant results.

You will shape engagement strategy, manage budgets, and foster trusted client relationships, advancing audit methodology, technology use, and professional development within the assurance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in assurance-related work.
• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Deep technical expertise in GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting standards.
• Proven leadership of large, high-risk engagements from planning through delivery.
• Advanced proficiency with assurance technology platforms and data analytics tools.
• Experience coaching multi-level teams (Managers, Senior Associates, Associates).
• Strong communication and executive presence with clients and leadership.
• Strategic thinker with business acumen and drive for growth.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex assurance engagements across diverse industries.
• Provide technical guidance on GAAP/GAAS and regulatory standards.
• Review and approve engagement budgets and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
