Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional to support private equity funds and hedge fund clients. You will work with experienced teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, allocations, and compliance within LP structures.

You will prepare journal entries, deal with fee calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models, while assisting audits and onboarding new staff. A hybrid schedule is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting processes.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook and Word; Investran preferred.
• Excellent client service and professional communication in all interactions.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds.
• Collaborate with manager, team and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices and waterfall models.
• Manage audits, year-end processes, onboard new team members, and suggest operational improvements.
