Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Associate – Private Equity Fund Accounting (Fund Administration) to work with leading private equity and hedge fund firms. You’ll perform financial tasks, support client leads across multiple funds, and help ensure timely, accurate reporting while contributing to process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0+ GPA and 3+ years of PE experience, with strong skills in QuickBooks, Excel and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 3+ years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word.
• Preferably familiarity with Investran.

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds.
• Collaborate with your manager, team, and support functions to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models.
• Manage audits, year-end processes, onboarding new team members, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
