Job summary

IQ-EQ, a leading Investor Services group, seeks a skilled accounting professional in New York, NY. You will support client leads across Private Equity funds, handling journal entries, allocations, and compliance with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, review complex financial tasks, and contribute to audits and year-end processes. A 3+ year PE background and proficiency in Investran, Excel, and QuickBooks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in Private Equity or related industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Investran.
• Excellent client service, communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds and industries.
• Collaborate with manager, team and support functions to meet client expectations.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to reporting, allocations and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, waterfalls.
• Manage audits, year-end processes; assist onboarding and suggest efficiency improvements.
