Job summary

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group, seeks a detail-oriented accounting professional with 3+ years in private equity to support financial reporting, allocations, and compliance for leading funds. You will prepare journal entries, fee/interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models while collaborating across teams to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• 3+ years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and preferably Investran.
• Excellent client service and professional communication in all interactions.
• Flexible to work overtime and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds in diverse industries.
• Collaborate with manager, team, and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models.
• Manage audits, year-end processes, onboard new team members, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
