Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Associate for Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accounting (CFO Services) in Dallas. You will provide outsourced CFO support, oversee financial operations, and collaborate with auditors and administrators to deliver accurate investor reporting and fund oversight.

The role requires a CPA-preferred accountant with 4+ years in alternative investments and a strong capability in financial modeling, analysis, and cross-functional teamwork. Hybrid/dsfriendly schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years in alternative investment management; public accounting a plus.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and communication skills; attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with auditors, administrators, HR/payroll and other providers delivering outsourced CFO services for hedge funds and private equity.
• Collaborate with team and clients, providing daily operational support and ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis.
• Review NAVs, allocations, investor statements, reconciliations, expense schedules, management fees and incentive allocations for accuracy.
• Prepare fund and management company financial statements, maintain accounting practices, research principles, and advise clients on improvements.
• Coordinate client onboarding tasks such as opening brokerage and bank accounts, and participate in regular conference calls.
