IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Associate for Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accounting (CFO Services). You will provide outsourced CFO support, oversee financial operations, reporting, and collaborate with auditors and service providers to ensure accurate accounting and investor reporting.

You will review NAVs, allocations, investor statements, and expense schedules; prepare fund financial statements; assist with onboarding and regular client calls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years in the alternative investment management industry; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter who is dedicated, punctual and personable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with QuickBooks, OpenAir, Bill.com and Expensify is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with auditors, administrators, HR/payroll, and other service providers while delivering outsourced CFO services to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.
• Collaborate with team members and clients, providing daily operational support and ad-hoc projects, including financial modeling and analysis.
• Review NAVs, allocations, investor statements, reconciliations, expense schedules, management fee calculations, and incentive allocations to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare fund and management company financial statements, maintain accounting practices, research accounting principles, and advise clients on improvements.
• Coordinate client onboarding tasks such as opening brokerage and bank accounts, while arranging and participating in regular conference calls to support engagement.
