Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate for Merger Integration & Carve-Outs in Houston, TX. You will support large private equity deals, lead integration planning, and drive Day 1 readiness and post-close execution across functions.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus.
• Deep functional expertise in at least one: Finance & Accounting; HR/Organizational design; Leadership and Stakeholder Involvement; Communications planning; Program management; Change/communications strategies.
• MBA preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Initiative and drive; critical thinking; travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and developing recommendations within the engagement context.
• Assist with workstreams within the Integration Management Office—Synergies, TSAs, Roadmap, Day 1 Readiness, Reporting, Communications.
• Support Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution, and performance improvements in key areas.
• Drive performance improvement assessments across an enterprise and implement recommendations.
• Track progress against Day 1 and Day 100 objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
