Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate in Merger Integration & Carve-Outs within our PEPI practice in the United States. The role focuses on overseeing merger integration, carve-outs, and value realization for private equity portfolio companies.

You will work across the full deal lifecycle, from pre‑deal assessments to post‑close execution, leading critical workstreams and ensuring client goals are met.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in merger integration and business transformation consulting.
• MBA preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues, applying assessment techniques, and delivering actionable recommendations within the engagement.
• Support Day 1 Day 100 planning and execution across integration workstreams (Synergies, TSAs, Day 1 readiness, governance).
• Contribute to the Integration Management Office with oversight of plans, roadmaps, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives across the enterprise and help implement recommendations.
• Track progress against objectives and adjust integration strategies as needed.
