Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Merger Integration & Carve-Outs for its PEPI practice in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on operating improvements, integration planning, and complex deal lifecycle support across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

You will engage in Day 1 readiness, blueprinting, and executive reporting while contributing to post-close execution. MBA is preferred, with extensive travel expected.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus.
• Functional expertise in Finance & Accounting, HR/Organizational design, or related areas.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and delivering data-driven recommendations.
• Support IMO workstreams: synergies, TSAs, Day 1 readiness, and integration roadmap.
• Assist with Day 1/Day 100 planning and post-close execution.
• Drive performance improvement assessments across the enterprise.
• Track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
