Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate in the Institutional group. You will partner with senior leadership to structure strategic problems, build quantitative models, and translate data into executive recommendations shaping product and segment strategy.

Responsibilities include developing business cases, maintaining benchmarks, and designing experiments. Strong communication and SQL/BI familiarity are essential in this remote-first role with quarterly in-person surges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic work across management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy.
• Ability to build quantitative models and business cases that inform executive decisions.
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto markets is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication to senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with SQL/BI tools or crypto analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for Coinbase's leadership and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Build business cases and financial models to inform Institutional product and go-to-market strategy.
• Develop competitive benchmarks and crypto landscape insights to sharpen recommendations.
• Design experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact across Institutional products.
• Own problems end-to-end from framing to implementation and improve processes.
