Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate within the Institutional group. You will partner with senior leadership to solve high-priority strategic and operational challenges, structure problems, and translate data into executive-ready recommendations that shape product and segment strategy.

You will build financial models, run experiments, own problems end-to-end, and help improve processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy, with end-to-end ownership of strategic workstreams.
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases that influenced executive decisions.
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets.
• Track record of delivering clear written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for Coinbase's leadership and develop data-backed recommendations.
• Build business cases and financial models to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Develop understanding of competitive positioning and crypto landscape to sharpen recommendations.
• Design experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive changes across institutional products.
• Own problems end-to-end from framing to implementation, not just slides.
• Improve processes, frameworks, and operational tooling to strengthen the team.
