Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate within the Institutional group to partner with senior leadership on high-priority strategic and operational challenges. You will structure problems, build quantitative models, and translate data into executive-level recommendations shaping product and segment strategy.

You will own end-to-end workstreams, develop business cases, and continually improve processes and tooling to drive efficiency and impact across Institutional products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy.
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases.
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets.
• Track record of delivering clear recommendations to senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
• Exposure to SQL and BI tools (Hex, Superset, Looker) or crypto analytics tools (Dune Analytics, Etherscan) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for Coinbase's leadership team and develop actionable recommendations backed by data.
• Build business cases and financial models that identify new opportunities and inform Institutional product/go-to-market strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of competitive positioning, peer benchmarks, and the crypto landscape to sharpen strategic recommendations.
• Design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive measurable changes across Institutional products.
• Own problems end-to-end, from framing to analysis, recommendation, and implementation.
• Strengthen team capabilities by improving processes, frameworks, and operational tooling.
