Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Associate in Corporate Development & Partnerships to identify and execute strategic partnerships and, where applicable, investment opportunities that accelerate product innovation and growth in our global payments capabilities.

You will work at the intersection of product strategy and external ecosystem development, collaborating with Product, Sales, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Investments to drive execution and value creation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in fintech, corporate development, investment banking, or a related field.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with partners and senior stakeholders across product, sales, operations, and technology.
• Analytical approach to problems, assessing competitive landscape and opportunities, offering solutions.
• Experience in creating business cases and assessing revenue opportunities, risks, and mitigants.
• Exceptional financial analysis ability; translating high-level concepts into actionable plans.
• Proactive, independent, with drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in managing strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives.
• Experience in investment banking or supporting roles including capital markets, industry coverage, and/or M&A advisory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships aligned with Payments' growth objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential partners.
• Engage fintech ecosystem to inform research and opportunities.
• Build business cases with value proposition, clients/use cases, and execution roadmap.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams for integration and execution.
• Conduct diligence for partnerships/investment decisions, assessing fit and risks.
• Support negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements.
• Monitor partnership performance and provide insights for optimization.
• Develop and execute corporate development strategies including acquisitions and investments.
