Quantum US seeks a Senior Inventory & Technical Accounting Manager to lead end-to-end inventory accounting for manufacturing operations in the United States. The role emphasizes costing, valuation, reserves, and period-end reconciliations, partnering with Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting.

The candidate will coordinate with the SSC, oversee journal entries, drive ERP improvements (D365 F&O, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP), and provide ASC 606 guidance.

Qualifikationen

• CPA required (active license).
• Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience in a public company environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across inventory accounting, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and US GAAP reporting.
• Experience with SSC or outsourced accounting operations.

Aufgaben

• Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with disciplined controls and bottleneck elimination.
• Own end-to-end inventory accounting—costing, valuation, reserves, and period-end reconciliations.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A on cycle counts and variance analysis.
• Coordinate close deliverables with SSC; review reconciliations and journal entries; ensure consistent treatment.
• Review and approve inventory-related journal entries and reconciliations; oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory trends, identify risks (obsolescence, variances) and drive resolutions.
• Standardize recurring reconciliations and reporting packages for repeatability.
• Implement process and system improvements (ERP config, automation) to reduce manual work.
• Provide SMEs on revenue recognition (ASC 606), SSP methodology, and deferred revenue; draft technical memos.
• Support external audits related to inventory and other technical accounting areas.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff; build technical bench strength.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed controls upstream.
• Serve as a resource for external auditors on ownership areas.
