Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking an Inventory Accounting Manager to own the end-to-end inventory, COGS, and margin analysis for a large division. You will manage and coach a team, drive accuracy of US GAAP inventory valuation, and oversee reconciliations across global territories.

You’ll build controls from scratch, partner with product and sales to set standard costs, and deliver reporting on cost components like product, duty, and freight to support profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 7+ years in revenue accounting and 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SAP and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventories accounting, COGS, and margin analysis.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for inventory and COGS including movement, transit accruals, and capitalization of freight/tariffs.
• Ensure US GAAP inventory valuation and reserves for slow-moving/excess/obsolete stock.
