Zusammenfassung

Find Great People | FGP is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead inventory accounting, product costing, and month-end close. You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Quality to ensure accurate valuation and reporting.

Based in Joplin, MO in a hybrid role, you will help modernize reporting, systems, and processes while supporting ERP optimization and financial controls.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Accounting experience with manufacturing and inventory accounting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA and Food & Beverage industry experience are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and support cycle count processes.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, and variances.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve inventory controls and business processes.
• Support NetSuite reporting and system enhancement initiatives.

We're seeking a Assistant Controller to serve as the lead resource for inventory accounting, product costing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Quality to ensure accurate inventory valuation, cost analysis, and financial reporting while supporting process improvements and ERP optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Perform inventory reconciliations and support cycle count processes
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, and variances
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
