Randstad USA seeks an experienced Controller to act as the backbone of the accounting organization and trusted partner to the CFO of an established industrial products distributor. The role drives month-end close, GL integrity, and inventory accounting for a multi-SKU environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in industrial distribution/manufacturing.
• Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager experience preferred.
• Hands-on JD Edwards (JDE)/Oracle ERP expertise required.
• Experience with multi-SKU inventory accounting, product costing and valuation.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit prep.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to review financial statements and support management reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage month-end close, GL activity, journal entries and complex reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and subledger reconciliations.
• Lead multi-SKU inventory accounting, including valuation and cost rolls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen internal controls.
