Quantum, a leading company in Chester County, seeks an experienced accounting leader to own end-to-end inventory accounting, lead the close, and partner with SSC and FP&A on cycle counts, valuations, and reconciliations. You will guide complex technical accounting topics and drive process improvements.

The role requires CPA, Big 4 background, and 7–10 years in a public company setting, with strong ERP experience and excellent communication with finance leadership and auditors.

Formación

• CPA licensed and active.
• Big 4 public accounting experience in a relevant role.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including public company exposure.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across inventory costing, valuation, reserves, and US GAAP reporting.
• Experience coordinating with SSC or similar outsourcing ops.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and large data sets (Excel; SQL preferred).
• Ability to work independently and communicate with finance leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Drive disciplined monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and remove bottlenecks.
• Own end-to-end inventory accounting: costing, valuation, reserves, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A on cycle counts and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with SSC for close deliverables and journal entries; ensure consistent treatment across entities.
• Review inventory-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory trends and drive resolution for obsolescence and variances.
• Standardize reconciliations and reporting packages; push for automation.
• Assist with revenue recognition matters (ASC 606) and deferred revenue.
• Support external audits on inventory and related accounting areas.
