Job summary

Reformation is seeking an Assistant Controller to own global inventory and cost accounting, strengthen financial controls, and lead a high-impact accounting function within a fast-growing consumer brand. You will drive standard costing, BOM governance, and variance analysis across products while partnering with IT and operations to build scalable close processes.

The role requires 8–12+ years in accounting, with 4+ years in a senior leadership capacity, and strong ERP experience (NetSuite) plus

Qualifications

• Experience managing global inventory valuation across multiple categories and landed costs.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, BOM governance, and margin analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to implement accounting policies and SOX controls.
• Experience with external audits and SEC reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close with accurate GL reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports for leadership.
• Document technical accounting positions and assess impact of new standards (US GAAP).
• Lead or support annual financial audits and manage external auditor relationships.
• Drive NetSuite optimization and scalable close processes.
