Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company in Durham, NC seeks a Senior ASIC Design Engineer for our Networking silicon team. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence two days per week, with US citizenship preferred.

You will lead high-performance ASIC development from spec to netlist, collaborating with Verification and Physical Design, while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
• Master's degree strongly desired for advanced roles.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in ASIC/SoC design and validation.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex modules and subsystems for high-performance networking chips.
• Write detailed functional and micro-architecture specifications.
• Implement designs using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Write functional coverage and SVA to catch corner-case bugs.
• Coordinate with physical design for floorplan and timing closure.
• Mentor new engineers and interns.
