College of Western Idaho is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide advanced AR support, collections management, and financial analysis for student accounts. You will resolve account issues, maintain accurate records, and support service excellence across campus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus partners, data-driven insights, and compliance with institutional policies while delivering exceptional customer service to students and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 year of accounts receivable experience.
• 1 year of front-line customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate collection activities for outstanding balances by phone, email, and written communications.
• Assist students with payment options and account resolution strategies.
• Review and monitor student account balances for accuracy and compliance.
• Support delinquent accounts monitoring and non-payment drop processes.
• Provide accurate information to students and stakeholders by phone, email, and in person.
