Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks a Coordinator, Accounts Receivable to lead frontline operations, assist students and campus partners with balances, billing, payment plans, holds, and collections. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of direct, paid full-time accounting experience (substitution allowed).
• Experience in training or supervising staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate frontline student support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Assist students with balances, payment plans, billing questions, holds, and collections inquiries.
• Train and mentor new staff and student employees.
• Develop and maintain training materials and procedures.
• Identify process improvements to enhance service and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.
