Job summary

Synopsys Inc in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a hands-on SI/PI specialist to help customers tackle 3D IC and advanced packaging challenges. You will run multi-physics simulations using HFSS, SIwave, Q3D, Ansys, Clarity, and translate results into actionable guidance.

Collaborate with product management and R&D to feed insights into the roadmap, deliver compelling technical demos, and travel to customer sites about 25% of the time to drive measurable value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in 3D IC and advanced packaging design or analysis.
• Proficiency with HFSS, SIwave, Q3D, Ansys, or Clarity, with ability to set up, run, and interpret multi-physics simulations.
• Strong working knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity principles, including transmission line effects, crosstalk, PDN analysis, and resonance.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand signal integrity, power integrity, and advanced packaging challenges and demonstrate Synopsys tools in context.
• Run multi-physics simulations using HFSS, SIwave, Q3D, Ansys, Clarity, or similar tools to validate product performance and guide evaluations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers working on 3D IC and advanced packaging designs, setting up models and interpreting results.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to feed customer insights back into the roadmap and prioritize features.
• Travel to customer sites to conduct onsite evaluations, training sessions, and technical reviews, roughly 25% of the time.
• Build and deliver technical presentations, application notes, and proofs-of-concept demos that show measurable value in real customer scenarios.
• Stay current on SI/PI/thermal analysis trends and communicate insights internally and externally.
