Job summary

Synopsys, a leader in engineering solutions, seeks a senior leader to head the Americas Application Engineering team for 3DIC and advanced packaging. You will shape the technical strategy, mentor senior engineers, and drive campaigns that convert customer opportunities into design wins.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and R&D to map customer needs to roadmaps, own complex escalations, and travel regionally to strengthen executive-level technical discussions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in application engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing roles in EDA/semiconductor.
• At least 5 years leading teams at a senior level.
• Expertise in digital implementation, 3DIC design, and multi-physics analysis.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining senior technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Americas application engineering team supporting 3DIC and advanced packaging solutions.
• Set the technical strategy for customer engagement on complex 3DIC design challenges through evaluation to production.
• Drive discovery, qualification, and campaigns that result in design wins and revenue growth.
• Build and manage a senior AE team capable of independent customer delivery.
• Partner with sales, product, and R&D to align needs with roadmaps and provide tools to win.
• Own escalations and roadblocks, engaging with customers at senior levels; travel up to 40%.
• Represent Synopsys in executive-level technical discussions and cross-functional alignment.
