Job summary

RTX is seeking senior engineers for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson, AZ to design robust power, analog, or motor control systems for Telemetry and Flight Termination products. Requires strong background in power electronics, converters, and mixed-signal design.

The role leads projects, mentors junior engineers, collaborates with ECAD and other teams, and contributes to system-level requirements and risk management. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with experience in power electronics.
• Experience with linear and isolated converter topologies.
• Experience with EMI design, testing, and simulation.
• Experience with transformer/inductor design in power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, and document power conversion and analog circuitry.
• Lead large projects and guide teams through design phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with ECAD drafters.
• Contribute to system-level requirements and design reviews.
