Job summary

RTX's Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team in Tucson, AZ, seeks senior engineers with electronics knowledge to design robust power, analog, or motor control systems. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with onsite work and relocation eligibility.

You will lead small teams through design phases, define schedules, guide ECAD drafters, and deliver power circuitry from concepts to integration, handling switch-mode converters and linear regulators in sub-10kW applications.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Experience with analog or digital electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, timing, and comparators).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry.
• Lead circuit card development through design phases from requirements to integration testing.
• Lead small teams with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
• Define schedules for circuit-level tasks and guide ECAD drafters through layout.
• Collaborate with ECAD to route power circuitry and define layer stack up.
