Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking senior engineers with electronics knowledge to design robust power, analog, or motor-control systems for telemetry and flight termination products. The Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team develops power systems from concept to integration, with products operating below 10kW and 1000V.

You will lead circuit design, drive from requirements through testing, and mentor ECAD drafters while guiding small teams to meet schedules and budgets in a DoD-cleared, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant power electronics experience.
• Experience with buck/boost/topologies in non-isolated or isolated converters.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
• Lead circuit card development from requirements to integration testing.
• Lead small teams with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
• Define schedules for circuit level tasking to meet deadlines.
• Guide ECAD drafters in layout and routing, assist in layer stack up.
